Discovered the Market
At 16, in a high school history class, a substitute teacher who loved the stock market spent the period talking to us about it. I've always loved numbers, and something about it stuck. I started researching everything I could find online from that day forward.
First Account
Graduated high school at 17. Shortly after turning 18, I opened my very first brokerage account.
My First $100 In the Market
Fractional shares were just becoming accessible. I bought my first stock, $20 of McDonald's, plus a partial share of Netflix. That was the first $100 I ever put into the market.
First Options Trade
I knew options by the book, but executing real trades on the market turned out to be a completely different game.
The Biggest Loss
My worst year in the market by far. You never forget your biggest losing year.
Back to Basics
I spent a full year paper trading and refining my strategy as much as I could. I also shifted focus toward investing, putting $500 a month into positions like VOO, VTI, SCHD, AAPL, T, and more.
Trading Real Money Again
I started trading real money again and closed out the year with my first big trading win.

My first six-figure trading year.
